Many believe that the only solution to an impending environmental disaster is to find and employ technologies that will help us reduce our carbon footprint. While new and innovative technology clearly has a role to play will that alone be sufficient? Could Sustainable Consumption be the more important lever in this existential battle that we face? The challenges of development are complex. It is easy to think about the challenge of providing education to the underprivileged as one that involves making available schools and educational materials.
